What Our Scores Mean
Each casino on sweepspicks receives a Sweeps-Pick Score: the median of 13 review sites' published expert scores, minus 0.3 if our own verification raises a Caution, and capped at 3.4 when player sentiment is poor. These are the seven categories we verify (with their weight in our breakdown):
- Redemption Reliability (25%) — Fair minimums, several cash methods, a published processing timeline — and penalties for payout freezes, KYC loops or closures after wins
- Bonus & Terms Transparency (20%) — Verified free SC at signup, daily SC, AMOE value, and terms that agree with themselves
- Games & Experience (20%) — Number of titles, live dealer, and in-house or original games
- Compliance & Trust (15%) — State actions and lawsuits naming the brand, published sweeps rules, a verifiable AMOE address, a named operator
- Player Sentiment (10%) — Trustpilot, App Store and Google Play ratings, weighted by review volume
- Mobile (5%) — Whether native apps exist, or an installable web app
- Customer Support (5%) — Live chat availability and response channels
How We Test Casinos
Our process for each review includes: creating a real account, claiming the signup bonus, playing games in both GC and SC modes, reviewing the full Terms & Conditions, testing customer support, and researching player feedback on Reddit, Trustpilot, and casino forums. We update reviews when we observe significant changes to a platform.
sweepspicks participates in affiliate programs — we may earn a commission if you sign up through our links. This compensation does not influence our scores or editorial content. Our ratings reflect our independent assessment of each platform.
Red Flags to Watch For in Any Review Site
- Every casino scores 9.5+ — Real reviews find real flaws. Uniformly high scores suggest the site is not independent.
- No mention of withdrawal times or complaints — Payout speed is one of the most important factors for players. Omitting it is suspicious.
- No Terms & Conditions analysis — Bonus terms matter. A review that only highlights the headline bonus without examining the conditions is incomplete.
- No update dates — Sweepstakes casinos change frequently. Undated reviews may be months or years out of date.
How to Use Our Reviews Effectively
- Read the full review — not just the score. A casino ranked #4 may be the best fit for your priorities.
- Check the withdrawal speed section specifically — this is where most player complaints originate.
- Look at the "Also Consider" section in each review for honest alternatives.
- Cross-reference with Reddit (r/sweepstakescasino) and Trustpilot for recent player experiences.
- Remember that bonus amounts change frequently — always verify the current offer on the casino's own site.
